Life will not always be “rainbows and butterflies” (in my Rocky voice) 😜, if you’re a fan ya know. There will be times when you have questions or even some doubt. But God did not promise a life without pain, stress, hard times, uncomfortable situations, and so forth, but what he did promise is that we can lay our burdens and all of this down at his feet, which in return allows us to continue to rise and conquer amongst the toughness that life can bring. Because He DOES provide a peace/strength beyond our understanding. He will provide answers the world cannot.
Being genuine and knowing that life isn’t perfect, like what we see on social media, makes you more relatable and inspiring because we all need help or inspiration sometimes. If we are always aiming for that “picture perfect image” on social media, you will ALWAYS feel unfulfilled as that’s far from what Gods will is for us. Don’t get me wrong, we are not at fault for sharing our special moments because it’s a beautiful way to document/build your own personal time capsule of special memories to look back on, but those of you who know me know, I’ll share the tough and scary stuff too as it runs deep in me to INSPIRE on all levels, FULLY reaching people.
If you’re out here trying to actually make a change and leave the world a little better than you found it, then you need to be able to reach people WHEREVER they are, in WHATEVER season they may be in. Not just the season you’re in.
Gods given you the struggles and triumphs to be a walking TESTIMONY. You’re not asking for a pity party by sharing your lows or showing off got sharing your highs, but don’t aim for perfection. You were placed in situations, you may of went through some hell of trauma, but not staying stuck there and HEALING is the power God has given you/me. To show others it can be done IMPERFECTLY and there is light at the end of that hard, bumpy, rollercoaster of life tunnel that most of us travel is the crème de la crème.. 🤌🏼
So take the first step, whatever that step may be for you today. Maybe you need to share your testimony or dig deeper into your own faith or healing. Whatever it is the fear will FADE when YOU MOVE. 💪🏼🩷⚡️
